Spray tans are the only beauty service that have a 50/50 RULE:

*50% the skill of your Master Spray Tan Artist

Each initial luxury spray tanning session includes a consultation which will allow us to discuss your skin type and tanning goals and typically lasts 45 minutes.
Each session thereafter should only take 30-35 minutes. This also includes our setup and breakdown.
What you wear during your session depends on your comfortability and tan line desires.
You may opt to wear a top, bottoms or be completely nude. Dark colors are preferred.
Liquid Sunshine Tanning provides disposable thongs for convenience.
Men must wear briefs, a sock or a disposable thong provided by Liquid Sunshine Tanning.
One of the most common questions we are asked is "What is the difference between Classic Tans and Rapids?"
Liquid Sunshine Tanning offers a variety of both Classic and Rapid Rinse services. Both yield equally beautiful, long-lasting results!
Classic Tans - the solution must remain applied to the skin for a minimum of 8-12 hours. This tan is perfect for those wanting to sleep in their tans or have the ability to chill without getting wet or sweating.
Rapid Rinse - Our most popular! The rapid rinse allows for a shorter rinse time depending on your skin type + tanning goals. Rinse times average between 2-5 hours and will be determined by your Master Spray Tan Artist. Due to the convenience, a small upcharge is applied.
Whether you choose the Classic or the Rapid, you will obtain a beautiful, long lasting glow!
If taken care of properly, your spray tan can last anywhere from 7-10+ days. Following the post-tan care instructions is paramount!
Liquid Sunshine Tanning provide both pre-tan and post-tan care instructions at your appointment.
Other factors such as hormones, daily activity and medications may also play a factor in the longevity of your spray tan life.

We will do our best to blend tan lines using certain techniques which typically obtain beautiful results. However, a tan line is created by the sun so there is never a 100% guarantee that it will be completely covered.

All we require is a space that is clean and well lit where we may set up. Our pop-up studio is 7 ft tall with a 4x4 base. You will receive your luxury glow within minutes!

You will be responsible for any parking or valet fees. Please provide your concierge airbrush artist with any details needed prior to arrival.
Plan to relax!
It is important you do not get wet or sweat until your first initial rinse. Try to stay dry and cool.
It is best to wear long, loose fitting, dark clothing. Do not wear any fitted clothing such as bras, sports bras and leggings.
Your spray tan may be tacky and may transfer to certain items or objects, so it is best to lay a towel out where you will be sitting or laying. Solution can be washed out of certain clothing and items, but it is never a guarantee.
It is best to schedule your spray tan 2-3 days prior to your event. This allows time for your tan to fully develop.
PRE + POST Tan Care
All beauty treatments such as Botox, fillers, brows, lashes, hair facials, massages and nails should be done prior to your luxury spray tanning appointment.
Your spray tanning session should always be the last beauty treatment completed when prepping for an event.
To ensure the most flawless application and to extend the longevity of your spray tan, it is critical to follow all pre-tan instructions. Liquid Sunshine Tanning will provide these helpful hints prior to your spray tanning session.

The key to a flawless spray tanning application is your pre-tan preparation.
For 24-48 hours prior to your session, we suggest the following:
A full body exfoliation, preferably with an exfoliating mitt is vital in preparing your skin for your spray tanning session. Be sure to pay special attention to any drier areas, such as elbows, knees and heels. Stay away from any body scrubs as these may create a barrier on the skin.
Any waxing or shaving should be completed no later than 24 hours prior to your appointment.
It is also recommended that you stop using retinol 24 hours prior to your spray tanning session.
On the day of your spray tanning session, we ask that you refrain from using and applying any soaps, lotions, oils, perfumes of deodorant. Additionally, please do not apply make-up. Application of these products during your session can create a barrier on the skin that may not allow the solution to fully penetrate your skin and cause an uneven tan.
Please do not shower the day of your tan. If you must shower for any reason, we ask that you do a minimum of hours prior to your session. Use cold water only and do not use any soaps or shampoo products.
You may wear dark, loose fitting clothing to your session. Suggested apparel is long sleeves with long pants. You may also wear open toed sandals or flipflops.
What is not recommended are tight pants, jeans, leggings, bras and sports bras. Please do not wear socks, sneakers or boots.
Please plan to be in this clothing after your spray tanning session and until your initial rinse. A long dress or t-shirt may also work, but we ask that you please be aware of any skin to skin contact as this may cause the tan to transfer.

Ahhhh girl, YOU'VE GOT THAT BEAUTIFUL GLOW!
After your spray tan session, you are going to be in LOVE! But this is not where your work ends. You will need to continue to follow post-tan care instructions to ensure the most flawless outcome of your spray tan.
Be sure to:
Not to get wet or sweat until your first initial rinse. Do not wash your face or your hands. When drinking, we encourage the use of straws so that no water or beverage is spilled on your face. Please be mindful of pets - any licking of the solution may result in the tan developing unevenly.
It is best to schedule some downtime following your spray tanning session. NetFlix and chill.
Please be mindful of how you are sitting (ie, crossing arms or legs, touching your face). This can lead to transfer of solution and cause your tan to blemish and not fully develop.
For your initial rinse - your time will be determined by your Master Spray Tanning Artist. During this rinse you will use lukewarm water only, using your hands in a circular motion to remove the bronzer. Do not use any soaps scrubs or shower products. You will rinse until the water runs clear. This does not mean your tan is coming off. You are removing the cosmetic bronzers only. Pat dry!
You will have a lighter color after your rinse, but fear not! Your tan will continue to develop over the next 24 hours.
You may take a normal shower approximately 24 hours after your spray tanning session. Please do not use any loofahs, sponges washcloths or exfoliating products and refrain from taking long hot showers. Hot water and steam can adversely affect your spray tan. Please be sure to use products that are free of any sulfates, mineral oils or petroleum. Apply lotion generously! Hydrated skin is healthy + happy skin!
The best way to maintain and extend the longevity of your tan depends on the products you use and your activities.
We strongly recommend using a post-tan body lotion that is spray tan safe. Liquid Sunshine Tanning offers a variety of products that are safe for sunless spray tanning for retail sale. Other store recommended lotions are Hempz Original, Native Body Lotion and Cetaphil.
Please be sure to avoid products that contain mineral oil, fragrances, petroleum and sulfates. These products are known to strip your tan leaving it uneven and streaky, and even cause it to fade unevenly. Stay away from Dove, Bath & Body, Victoria Secret, Pantene.
Do not use any exfoliating products and refrain from using any loofahs, sponges or washcloths while showering.
Liquid Sunshine Tanning also recommends the use of tan extenders. These products can lengthen the life of your tan if use correctly.
Avoid the long hot showers, hot tubs and saunas as prolonged submersions can adversely affect your spray tan.
Use a spray tan safe sunscreen! Brands we recommend are: SunBum and Coola.
Stay moisturized and hydrated!!
Another important suggestion - STAY HYDRATED! Just as we need water to thrive, so does your tan! A hydrated skin is a healthy + happy skin!!
A consent waiver must be completed by all parties prior to your spray tanning session. Your Master Spray Tanning Artist will send this to you once your appointment has been made.
DHA (dihydroxyacetone): Primary ingredient used in sunless tanning products. It is a colorless sugar compound normally derived from plants, beet and sugar cane.
Is DHA safe? YES!! The FDA approved DHA as a color additive in sunless products in 1977, to be used EXTERNALLY only
Spray tanning and other self tanning products target the epidermis or the outermost layer of the skin. When DHA is applied to the skin, the amino acids in the dead skin cells react, causing the skin to change color over time. Once the spray tan has been applied, the tan will not wash away with just soap and water or by sweating it off. It should fade naturally as the skin exfoliates.
Exfoliating products, prolonged water submersion in hot tubs, hot showers or pools can cause the spray tan to fade or even be removed.
DHA does not protect your skin from the sun. You must continue to use sunscreen while outside, especially during prolonged sun exposure
